The gameplay of this game is drastically different from enter the gungeon for the fact its on a 2 plane, opposed to isometric this makes dodging a lot harder, but they added jump rolls and drop rolls to compensate, even though i think at times, its just not enough for the clutter that can happen, but the actual gun fights and bosses themselves generally are fun, they have a nice progression and there’s less overly annoying bosses, even if some are easier than others, the balance is a lot better than gungeon boss wise. Shifting rooms, enemies, bosses, bizarre weapons and items all combine to ensure that no two attempts to Exit the Gungeon are the same. Battle against the last and most bitter of the Gundead at a frantic pace, slowing down just long enough to chat with some familiar faces… and a few new ones. The better you play, and the higher your combo, the more powerful the form your gun will take. The Gungeon has become a paradox and is collapsing!
